Assistant Credit Manager - Retail - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
A large Retail concern is looking for an Assistant Credit Manager to be responsible for all issues related to the National Credit Act.

POSITION INFO:

Matric

Relevant Diploma 

Duties:

• Approval of new member applications and ensure all documentation is correct
• Check affordability of setting up new stores
• Check cash flow projections to ensure that store will be profitable.
• Securities available for the franchise for stock purchases
• Bank guarantees wording is correct
• The set-up of legal documentation (Notarial Bonds)
• To reduce risk and potential loss within the business
• Compliance to the National Credit Act
• Regular discussion with Divisional Managers and accountants on progress of approval on applications
• Ensure Credit Limits and store opening notifications are sent
• Review debtors Age Analysis on a regular basis to ensure payments are done
• Regular discussions with Divisional Managers and Accountants on Status of Member Accounts
