Assistant Agronomist

SUMMARY:
Our client based in the North-West near Vryburg, is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Assistant Agronomist with at least 3 years’ experience within the agricultural sector.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• BTech in Crop Science or Agronomy.
• Computer literate using MS Office.
• 3 years’ experience in agriculture preferably in crop production and ground nut production.
• Valid drivers’ licence.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Administration on seed lot registrations.
• Responsible for planting trails and maintenance on trial plots.
• Observation during season and harvesting plots.
• Assist and maintenance with glasshouse trails.
• Assist in information dissemination amongst producers during the farming season.

Training:

•  Training will be provided.
