SUMMARY:
Our client, a supplier of oleo and speciality chemical products, currently seeks an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Manager.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Min 2 years experience, within commerce or manufacturing.
The Job:Daily duties:- Capture cashbook and credit card statements on Sage of all bank accounts and report balances to Management.
- Debtor management.
- Input stock movements.
Month-End:- VAT reconciliation and submit to FM for processing.
- Vet all deliveries have been invoiced from delivery books for each warehouse.
- Month-end bank reconciliation on Pastel Partner.
- Capture and reconcile petty cash & credit cards.
- Vet customer month-end statements to be sent out.
- Vet supplier recons balance to system.
- Inventory variance reporting.
Ensure all general ledger accounts have been reconciled including intercompany for FM to finalise month-end. - Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by Management.
