SUMMARY:
Available immediately? Limited duration contract immediately available for an Assistant Accountant based in Silverton, Pretoria. Provide and provide accurate and timeous financial information to Plant Management in order to make informed business decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completed National Diploma in Accounting or B.Com (Accounting) degree, coupled with 2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant in a Manufacturing / Automotive Manufacturing concern. KPI's include: Assist with the preparation of operational budget and load budget onto the system; assist with the preparation of operational forecast on the system; financial reporting and GL; assist with the preparation of of the year-end statutory audit; prepare ledger balance and an initial balance including all recons, balance sheet accounts and support documentation; prepare year-end reporting accounting and tax packs; follow-up and action audit finding; cost accounting - prepare and review detailed product costing analysis for all new parts; analysis of current parts and make recommendations for the financial recovery on distressed parts and calculate and propose potential price increases; creditors, banking and cash management; debtors; capex and fixed assets; statutory returns and stock control. Knowledge of an MRP system and above average experience on MSExcel ideal.
