JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, within the FMCG industry, is seeking to recruit a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to take on the available role of their Assistant Financial Accountant. Our client, who has been in operations for more than half a century and has touched the lives of each one of their customers, wants the successful incumbent to be responsible for (but not limited to) the month end close process, monthly forecasting and annual planning process, review of contracts for commitment and contingencies disclosure, and inventory audit process. Duties:

Budgets and forecasts
Full finance function
Consolidations
Reconciliations
VAT and tax
Management accounts
Accounts receivable and accounts payable

Qualification and Experience:

Newly qualified CA(SA)
1 to 2 years post articles experience
Must have prior FMCG / manufacturing / pharmaceuticals experience
Must have a keen eye for details

Skills:

Advanced Excel knowledge
