Assistant Accountant

This position is a Assistant Accountant – this is not a pure accounting role and will have a variety of tasks to also perform. The role reports to 2 FM’s who you will support daily.  You are a strong administrative person and loves to make lists. Prioritising on the spot is your way of life and managing volumes is second nature. Some of the duties is included below but not limited to:

Head office accounting

Reconciliations (credit card recons, bank recons, balance sheet recons)

Invoice capturing and basic transactional accounting

Ad hoc filing and other administrative tasks

Banking administration including:

Online account administration

Credit card applications

Up to date records on accounts, access, changes

Vehicle asset financing

Follow up on requests

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Degree/ Diploma

Minimum Saipa articles + 3 years experience

Accpac or similar skills

Strong planning skills

Follow-through

Independent
