SUMMARY:
Assistant Accountant required Fixed Term 4 Month Contract for a well-established company based in Woodstock Cape Town with;

POSITION INFO:

To as to assist over the financial year-end
Grade 12, with Mathematics
BCom degree with major in accounting
To as to assist over the financial year-end
Experience in GL entries, cashbook and fixed assets would be preferable
To assist over the financial year end.
Computer literacy – MS Office (With a high proficiency in MS Excel).
Maintain IFRS-compliant Fixed Asset Register and Income Tax-compliant Tax Asset Register including other fixed asset administration
Prepare income tax schedules for tax returns disclosure purposes for all entities in the organisation
Administration of all Foreign exchange contracts for Exports
NPC accounting
Maintenance of petty cash
Update daily exchange rates on financial system.
Prepare general journals.
Other ad hoc accounting and administrative duties
