SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

To assist the Head Office Accountant in his/her duties within the group:

v Process and settle invoices on the ERP system

v Reconcile vendor accounts at the end of each month

v Liaise with vendors on all queries as and when required

v Update cash book daily

v Prepare cash plan for Head office

v Post banking transactions on the ERP system daily

v Reconcile weekly and post monthly bank revaluation

v Assist in the filing of various approved tax returns

v Ensure files and journal vouchers are kept up to date

v Inform country accountants when offsetting payments on behalf of subsidiaries

v Extract trial balances and general ledger listings as and when required on the ERP system

v Assist auditors and audit Manager on queries

v Assist in review and implementation of an effective system of internal control procedures

v Review, develop and implement sound financial policies, processes and procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements

v Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the head office accountant

v Degree in accounting

v Bilingual (English/French)

v Good excel skills

v Minimum of 5 yearsâ€™ experience in a similar position
