SUMMARY:
Storage and Packaging concern based in Johannesburg East is seeking an Assistant Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Completed Bcom Accounting degree – NON-NEGOTIABLE
Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as an Accountant / Assistant Accountant
Strong SAP working knowledge – NON NEGOTIABLE
Manaufatcuring/Logistics background experience is required

Duties:

Preparation of balance sheet recons
General Ledger queries
Maintain the fixed asset register and recons thereof
Prepare VAT recons
Assist in the statutory reports
Process all journals
Update monthly expense account
Assist in the preparation of budget and forecasts
Keep up to date with Account Receivable and Account Payable accounts
