Assistant Accountant

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity based in the Northern Suburbs. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is immediately available and looking to secure employment with a growing company. Bookkeeping up to management accounts would be advantageous.

POSITION INFO:

Printing of invoices and bank statements

Capturing of invoices

Preparation of creditor reconciliations and payment requisitions

Loading of creditors and payments on the online banking platform

Preparation of monthly cash draw

Debtors maintenance

General accounts payable and receivable enquiries

Preparation of rental fund income reports and collation of all expense reports and invoices

Pastel processing

Management pack preparation

Audit assistance

Account reconciliations and refund of deposits

Load payments

General finance administration and ad hoc duties as operationally required

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience

Pastel Evolution experience

Excel skills (Non-negotiation)

Strong communication skills

Qualification:

BCom Accounting/ Diploma Accounting
