Asset Quality Manager

SUMMARY:
Our Property giant client is looking to hire an experienced Asset Quality Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of the company’s asset portfolio, consisting of loans in the servicing stage, is maintained in terms of construction management, cyclical processes, and default management processes. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of + 5 Asset Quality Manager (Preferably coming from the property industry)
• Must have proven experience in brand alignment.
• Must have Asset quality monitoring and reviewing skills.
• Must have staff management experience.

Duties include:

• Develop the asset quality management operational plan by understanding the business strategy and key strategic indicators. Identifying actions and drafting the plan for approval annually.
• Manage operational performance by tracking delivery against key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action monthly.
• Contribute to business process improvement by reviewing business processes, identifying improvements and areas of inefficiency, recommending improvements.  
• Monitor operational construction management by reviewing reports, identifying anomalies, analysing the underlying problems.
•  Engaging with team members, providing recommendations on corrective action and following up on actions taken monthly and as required.
• Monitor insurance cover by conducting sample assessments of the status of insurance cover in respect of all projects in the loan servicing stage.
•  Identifying projects that do not meet the company’s requirements, raising the concerns, agreeing corrective action and following up on action taken as required.

• Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – Degree in Property Science or Environmental Studies.
