Assembly Mechanical Fitter

SUMMARY:
We are looking for Workshop Assembly Fitters/ Mechanical Trade for our client based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

POSITION INFO:

Suitable candidates must have:

Trade qualification/papers
Ability to read engineering and assembly drawings
Previous mechanical assembly experience (5 years plus)
Previous workshop experience (advantageous but not mandatory)
Experience with Hydraulics 

Responsibilities:

Assist with specifications on improvements required to mining and arthmoving equipment as required.
Plan & undertake dis-assembly & re-assembly of the body & components
Troubleshooting & fault-finding mechanical & hydraulic system
Repair, replace or refurbish all components of mining, earthmoving or other equipment
Undertake modifications to existing assemblies – oxy-cutting, welding, fitting, etc.
Identify required material and parts and issue for purchasing.
Complete all relevant service documentation.
