Assembly & Repairs Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client has an opportunity for an Assembly & Repairs Technician to join their market-leading business at their branch in Pinetown. Candidates must meet the requirements in order to be considered for the process.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Trade – Mechanical Fitter & Turner.
• At least 5 years’ mechanical maintenance experience as a Fitter & Turner.
• Must have a strong technical background.
• Knowledge of valves and steam systems.
• Must be computer Literate.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• A Customer-First attitude. 

Not limited to - Functions include:

• Performing daily inspections and filling out inspection forms on related machines
• Repairing of all mechanical breakdowns and ensuring minimum downtime.
• Perform weekly planned maintenance on machinery.
• Done maintenance on (steam lines steam traps, steam valves and boilers)
• Installing new mechanical related equipment.
• Participate within the health, safety and environmental programmes.
