Artwork Packaging Co-Ordinator - Meat and Food Processing Plastics Packaging Industry

SUMMARY:
A well-known and established Meat and Food Processing Plastics Packaging Manufacturing company requires the above to provide commercial and operational support to the manufacturing and sales teams by co-ordinating, liaising with customers, principals and colleagues and handling all artwork for various packaging supplied into the meat and food processing manufacturing markets.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Previous experience having worked in an Artwork Co-ordination role is essential.
• Previous experience having worked within the Plastics Packaging or Printing or Flexo Graphic Printing or Artwork House or related manufacturing environment (packaging/FMCG/chemical or related) is pref but not essential. 
• Must have a good understanding of Artwork within a manufacturing or related environment.
• Previous experience having liaised with REPO houses that does all their art work is pref.
• Person must be attention to detail and be able to sign off on all art work within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Must be able to follow up meticulously on all Artwork and projects etc.
• Must be driven and able to take ownership.
• Good excel spreadsheet skills capabilities as well as previous experience working on an ERP system such as SAP or related is pref.
• The successful person should be customer orientated, passionate and dedicated to working with customers, suppliers and all internal staff.
• The candidate should have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

• Running with all Artwork, Liaising with customers, agencies and REPO houses.
• Managing and co-ordinating of Printing on casing - Shrink Wrap.
• Maintaining all projects within the customer portfolio.
• Co-ordinating and following up with all packaging development, marketing, branding, Co-ordinating all designs Flexo printable, DTP, etc.
• Liaising and co-ordinated press approvals and Co-ordinated designs for packaging, liaising with technical, production and Repro teams and customers.
• Manage and co-ordinate Mockups ensuring that artwork is set up as per customer specifications.
• Dispatch samples and Artwork to customers drawing following through for final approval.
• Attend technical meetings with the Production team working closely with Repro departments.
• Ensure stock is delivered to customer to correct specifications and delivered on time.
• Accountable to manage and co-ordinate the flow of Artwork and the effective scheduling of briefs with clients to facilitate the on-time delivery of exceptional printing and packaging.
• Identify, plan and co-ordinate various packaging needs of clients.
• Examine new Artwork and technically assess print-ability, machine, and process attainability of all elements of packaging.
