Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in military vehicle design, with a portfolio of successfully completed projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (Preferably Autodesk Inventor).
- Knowledge of military vehicle systems and subsystems (e.g., powertrain, armour, electronics). – Strong understanding of the manufacturing processes and materials.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of military specifications and defense industry standards, such as MIL-STD and NATO standards. In depth knowledge of suspension, powertrains, cooling packs for military vehicles.

Duties and responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer in the military vehicle field, with at least 5-10 years of experience in designing and developing military vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of defense industry requirements, military vehicle performance standards, and the latest advancements in technology. This role involves leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams from project engineers to draftsmen, and ensuring that the vehicles meet stringent safety, reliability, and operational standards.
- Vehicle Design Leadership: Lead the design, development, and improvement of various military vehicles, including armored vehicles.
- Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including suspension, armor, drivetrains and electronics.
- Project Management: Oversee all stages of the design process, from initial concept through to production, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project goals and military specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to ensure vehicle designs meet the operational requirements and performance criteria.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet relevant military standards, such as MIL-STD, and comply with defense regulations.
- Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of junior designers and engineers, providing guidance and expertise to support their professional development.
