Armed Response Officer (Umhlanga North)

SUMMARY:
The Grade B Armed Reaction Officer will report to the Compliance Officer.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

The Grade B Armed Reaction Officer will report to the Compliance Officer. The primary responsibility of the Grade B Armed Reaction Officer is to provide Armed Reaction Services to the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enforce the Company’s Disciplinary ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure an efficient and effective operation of the Site
• Handle and resolve staff and client complaints
• Carry out duties and tasks as per Site Job Description
• Take a proactive approach to Armed Reaction-related matters
• Communicate with Staff, Public, Client and Management with regards to Security needs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PSIRA Grade B Registered
• Armed Response Trained
• Driver’s License Code 08
• Firearm Competency
• 3 - 5 years of continual Driving experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Security within a gated Estate
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Armed Response within the Security Industry [Including Access Control]
• Knowledge of the Security Industry Regulations including Operational and Client Requirements
