Area Managers for Midrand and Mbombela

1. JOB DESCRIPTION (duties)

• Represent company and promote the company’s products and brands.
• Research consumer needs.
• Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships.
• Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
• Respond to customer requests and collect customer feedback.
• Hire, train (identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfil them), motivate, advise and monitor performance, ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled by your team.
• Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing individual and team performance data, and projecting future performance.
• Execute the strategic sales plan, expand customer base, and grow all brands.
• Monitor progress (call reports) and have regular feedback sessions and monthly meetings with your team.
• Prepare sales reports to present to management

2. QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary qualification in Sales Management, Business Marketing or Business Administration

3. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Powertool and accessories within woodworking trade industry knowledge is essential.
• Superb leadership skills
• Ability to motivate a team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter with a strategic and creative mindset.

4. EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years Sales Rep experience plus 2-3 years in a Team Leader role (8+ years’ experience).
• Knowledge of K8 will be advantageous.
• A valid driver’s license with no infringements or outstanding fines.
• Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, Excel and related business and communication tools.
