SUMMARY:
Architect (Witbank - Emalahleni)
POSITION INFO:
The architect must be able to meet the project specifications to lead and create detailed drawings for buildings and structures.
As the project progresses, the architect will consult with the technical director, contractors, engineers, and other key members to ensure that aspects such as structural supports are properly incorporated into their designed structures.
This may also include making modifications to their design throughout the project life cycle.
Duties & Responsibilities:
vLead and develop projects from early concept through design development.
vPrepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
vCoordinate preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and site development.
vResolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
vModify existing plans and elevations to fit company needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
vBachelor Degree in architecture or related fields.
vMinimum of 8 years working experience in a management role within the construction field.
vMust have advanced computer programs experience in 3D software, BIM and AutoCAD when creating designs.
vChinese speaking is a must.
