POSITION INFO:

 

MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN

REPORTS TO: DEALER PRINCIPLE / SERVICE

MANAGER

 

LOCATION:

Lynwood Pretoria

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Ensure all electrical and mechanical repairs to vehicles are done. Responsible for final quality control of repair work.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Accredited product Technician.
• Prior experience being a motorcycle & scooter mechanic.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare operating equipment and bring necessary parts to the workshop bay according to correct internal procedures.
• Conduct the repair and / or maintenance according to manufacturer’s specifications.

• Job Knowledge and Skills:
• Co-operate with and support other Motor product divisions as required from time to time (power products, golf cars, marine and technical support services).
• Monitor service and maintain Race team bikes, including attendance at race meetings.
• Retrofit accessories and mounted parts as required.
• Document any work carried out, recording working hours and report to the GM.
