POSITION INFO:
Life-Changing Career Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work abroad in the DRC - Technical Product Support

This will be between 2 to 4 weeks at a time in DRC (Accommodation, travel and food will be covered by the company when the individual is abroad)

Minimum requirements:

BEng / BSc Mechanical Engineering (Nothing less will be accepted)
0 to 2 year Mechanical Industry Experience (Post Grad)
Graduates are welcome to apply
Own transport for when in Gauteng at Head Office
Flexibility to travel for the company as and when required locally and internationally (Main Focus will be DRC)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to best meet the customer’s needs.
- Compile technical reports and proposals.
- Guide customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product.
- Provides first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications.
- On-site assistance with the commissioning of products.
- Do system analysis and fault finding on-site and compile reports with the necessary solutions and root cause analysis.
- Assist Sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients.
- Required to meet or exceed Customer Support standards on a consistent basis
