Analyst - Financial Services Industry

SUMMARY:
Our client in Soweto is looking to employ an Analyst for their Financial Services operation.

POSITION INFO:

This role is to enable the Company in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implement proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets and controlling the financial operations of the Company. This position is open to all suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

The successful candidate will possess a strong insurance background to function as a subject matter

expertise. He/she will have general insurance experience covering the overall business, including the sources of risk and potential options for mitigation and the capability to perform accounting and financial analysis.

Main responsibilities:

Performs comprehensive analysis and projections, relating to business or research trends.

Oversees the development and monitoring of company budgets.

Lead in financial planning and cost analysis.

Analyzes financial data to ensure efficient use of resources.

Ensures compliance with Underwriters and regulatory bodies and restrictions.

Analyzes complex financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, finance, insurance or in a related field.

Drivers License

Own a car (added advantage)

Salary is R25 000 CTC per month negotiable on experience.
