SUMMARY:
The Capital on the Park is recruiting a Airlines Butler - based in Sandton.

POSITION INFO:

The Capital Hotels and Apartments is the fastest growing hotel group in South Africa and are the leaders and specialists in the extended stay/serviced apartment/apartment hotel sector. We are currently constructing two properties per year. This high paced growth requires ambitious and talented employees and provides such employees with promotional opportunities as they move into our newly constructed properties.

Description:

The Airlines Liaison/Butler is responsible for the supervision and control of all guest services and administration of all Guest Service Related tasks applying to the inhouse Aircrew, including handling check-in and check-out procedures, Accommodation reservations and general interaction with Aircrew on any queries or assistance required.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 Years Guest Relations experience
  • Previous Airlines Liaison experience advantageous
  • Hospitality Manager Qualification advantageous
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in French (Essential) and English
  • Certificate/Diploma in Butler Service advantageous
  • Previous Butler experience advantageous
  • Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience with PMS systems (Protel advantageous)
  • Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills
  • Friendly, courteous and service-orientated
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Effective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the Hotel
  • Honest and trustworthy beyond approach
  • Great attention to detail
  • Presentable/Professional appearance and well spoken
  • Team Player who leads by example
  • Proactive in approach
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills
