POSITION INFO:
This established HVAC solutions provider has served the Southern African market for nearly four decades. Specialising in custom design, supply, and installation of industrial and commercial air systems, their work spans mining, remote sites, and cross-border contracts. Known for hands-on delivery and technical excellence, they offer a dynamic environment for serious Technicians who want more than just a toolbox role.
You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems, including air-conditioning units and associated components. The role includes travel to project sites outside Johannesburg (often remote), working with client teams, and ensuring safety and compliance on all jobs. Practical problem-solving, initiative, and professional conduct on-site are key to success in this position.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Trade-tested Air-conditioning or Refrigeration Technician qualification
- 3+ years hands-on experience installing and servicing HVAC systems
- Solid understanding of electrical controls, pipework, and system commissioning
- Comfortable working on remote sites and coordinating with skilled labour teams
- Advantageous: Valid passport for cross-border work, and prior experience in the mining or industrial sector
