POSITION INFO:
A leading player in agricultural innovation is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to champion the adoption of patented fertilizers across Southern Africa. This hybrid role is perfect for a self-driven professional who knows the agri-market, thrives in the field, and can build strong relationships with farmers and dealers alike.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- 2–5 years’ proven sales experience within the agricultural sector
- Based in Gauteng or surrounding regions
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel for client visits and field demonstrations
- Independent worker, comfortable in a hybrid/remote environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of farming systems, crop nutrition, and plant health
- Track record of managing agri-dealer and farmer relationships
- Experience in technical sales of agri-inputs (fertilizers, seed, crop protection)
- Confident in delivering product presentations, demos, and technical support
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field (beneficial)
- Target-driven mindset with the ability to deliver solutions and results
