Agile Master (Senior)

POSITION INFO:

This role requires a motivated and dedicated individual with an excellent background in guiding teams and organizations on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and add value to project and customers, aligning within bigger teams to ensure good collaboration and value adding.  The incumbent will give structure to workshops and meetings to help lead and facilitate the team’s Agile way of working, guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization teams/Agile, i.e. “closing the loop” and “getting things done”.

Requirements:

• 5+ years senior level experience required;
• In depth knowledge of JIRA and Confluence;
• Certification as Scrum Master;
• Project Management qualification;
• Knowledge of BMW, ITPM, AWM;
• Previous exposure to a finance function - either being in a finance function or Agile Master for a team that services a Finance Function);
• Manage a technical team using the AGILE methodology;
• Leadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency;
• Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc);
• Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/ Home office rotation.
