An Engineering company consulting to the Mining industry is seeking the expertise of an Aftersales Mechanicl Engineer for their technicians in the Steelpoort area.
POSITION INFO:
An Engineering company in Steelpoort / Burgersford is seeking the expertise of an After sales Mechanical Engineer servicing their clients on the mines.
The ideal applicant will have previous mining experience and hold a BEng / BSc / ND Mechanical Engineering / BTech Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Overseeing a team of technical people (current team consists of 12 members, but will expand to 20)
Input into the working of systems of clients on the mine
Procedures to obtain better overall results
Regular underground visits to the mines to check, maintain and adjust faulty machines.
Key in finding better solutions for clients and streamlining processes on the technical side.
Manage and train junior technical people.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Computer Literate
After sales experience ideal.
