Short Term Insurance Underwriter / Adviser Assistant required to assist this Financial Adviser/Broker with all short term insurance related duties – claims, underwriting, quotations and policy administration. Position based in Ballito, KZN.
POSITION INFO:
Short Term Insurance Adviser Assistant required to assist this Financial Adviser/Broker with all short term insurance related duties – claims, underwriting, quotations and policy administration. Position based in Ballito, KZN.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 essential
- RE5 essential
- NQF4 Short Term Insurance preferred or proof of completing this qualification required
- Exposure to commercial insurance preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant short term insurance experience required
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and managing the underwriting, claims and administration processes and to assist the Broker
- Liaising with clients
- Issuing new policies, renewals and endorsements
- Renewals – negotiating terms and preparing renewal documentation
- Register and process claims
- Recordkeeping
- Professional feedback to all clients
- Administrative support
