Administrator : Procurement - 6 month contract

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Administrator : Procurement for a 6 month contract based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

 

• ND Supply Chain or related with 3 years admin experience, 2 of which must be in the demand and acquisition environment, procuring goods and services
• Must be skilled in office management, filing and scheduling meeting with good computer literacy and report writing skills

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensure adherence to Procurement Legislation, Policies and Procedures Contracting in line with the SCM framework
• Pre - tender submissions
• Ensure that bills of quantities, job specifications or Terms of Reference are clearly defined and presented to Manager
• Custodian of evaluation reports and Procurement Proposals and quotes;
• Formulate comprehensive and accurate evaluation reports with recommendations for authorization
• Record attendance and declaration of interests
• Monitor that Quotations Evaluation Committee recommendations are carried out and report back monthly
• Accurate minute taking
• Compile weekly procurement report indicating projects status
• Maintenance of supplier database
• Capturing supplier information & updating database.

 

Salary:  R15 000.00 per month for the 6 month contract period
