SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

The organisation currently has a career opportunity for an Administrator to work five hours per day (Monday to Friday) at their Paarl office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Liaison with various stakeholders
Database administration and maintenance
Recordkeeping of producer and other information
Scheduling of meetings and meeting arrangements including AGM
Administration support to events planning and management
Provide market development assistance; tradeshow arrangements, marketing campaigns etc.
Assist with administration regarding market access and food quality standards regarding registrations
Update and maintain website
Travel arrangements including flights, accomodation and visa applications
Day to day administrative duties

Requirements:

Relevant post-matric qualification (Agricultural qualification will be an advantage)
A good understanding of the agricultural sector
Previous experience in a similar position in agriculture
Excellent computer skills in MS Office Package (Word; Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Publisher)
Excellent planning and organisational skills with strong administrative skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Good communication skills in both English and Afrikaans with good writing skills
Service focussed with good interpersonal skills

A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate
