Job Description


My client in the small plant rental industry is urgently looking for an administrator to perform general administrative and bookkeeping tasks including data capturing, capturing invoices, liaising with customers, and counter sales from time to time. The ideal candidate must be reliable and with sober habits. Clear ITC is required.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Driver’s license, preferably C1
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Computer literacy:
    • Microsoft Office
    • Pastel (or similar)

Preferred requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience as an administrator, preferably in a construction or small plant environment
  • Previous customer care experience is an advantage
  • NQF5 in a related field

The administrator typically reports to the financial manager or general manager, but will be informed once employed of the reporting structure. The position is 45 hours per week. Saturday half day.
