SUMMARY:
Hospitality Technology Company offering an integrated cloud-based PMS system based in Somerset West is currently recruiting for a Development Administrator to keep the development team organised, focused and moving forward.

As the Developer Administrator, you are the glue that holds the development process
together, your role is to support the development team by coordinating planning
sessions, tracking tasks, removing admin friction, and ensuring communication is clear
and consistent.

You help create structure so developers can focus on building great software.

This role suits someone who is highly organised, calm under pressure and enjoys working closely with technical teams.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Facilitate development sessions, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Keep sprint boards, backlogs, and task statuses up to date and accurate.
Track deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Take clear notes during meetings and distribute action items and decisions.
Follow up with team members to ensure agreed actions are completed.
Coordinate communication between developers, product, support, and management.
Help maintain development documentation, release notes, and internal records.
Support the team with general administrative tasks related to development workflows.
Identify process bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements to how the team works.

Requirements:

Grade 12
A formal qualification will be an advantage
Experience in an administrative, coordination, project support, or development-related role.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort working with task management tools (e.g. Azure Boards, or similar).
The ability to work with technical teams without needing to be technical yourself.
Attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to work.
A calm, supportive manner and confidence to follow up and keep people accountable.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, think logically, and propose practical solutions.
