SUMMARY:
Admin / Financial Clerk (Strand)

POSITION INFO:

Admin/Financial Clerk

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage and control of daily stock counts and investigation of stock related queries
  • Plan, prepare and administer all stock take counts
  • Manage and control all stock take counts
  • Processing of bank account and reconciliation
  • Credit card control and reconciliation
  • Daily cash ups and balancing
  • Accurately complete journals and accruals on a timeous basis
  • Filing
  • General office admin and ad-hoc tasks
  • Assist Finance Manager with the annual statutory and BEE audit

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics and/or Accounting Diploma
  • 3 year''s minimum experience within retail environment
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office – Intermediate level
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles
  • Hands on person
  • Willing to learn and grow, flexible, responsive and deadline driven
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Residing in the Helderberg area
  • Valid driver''s license
