POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
Ensure daily banking in conjunction with the Store Manager
Balance cash ups with banking
Manage safe and cash floats
Investigate shortages or over banking
Control administration procedures and maintain standards
Prepare requisitions and ensure daily filing
Update reports and authorize transactions
Manage lay-byes and conduct spot checks
Ensure RTS is done regularly
Conduct cashiers spot checks
Control daily change
Maintain general filing of memos and correspondence
Data capturing of stock received and sent
Maintain cleanliness in back office and cash desk area
Manage security of back office and cash desk
Ensure health & safety standards are met
Prevent shrinkage by implementing procedures
Train staff in customer service
Assist customers with enquiries and complaints
Manage performance and development of cash desk staff
Enforce policies and disciplinary actions
Manage staff time and attendance
