SUMMARY:
My client based in Capricorn, Cape Town is looking for a Admin & Stores Assistant

POSITION INFO:
The Admin & Stores Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance to the Sales Administrator, the Supply & Demand Planner and the Customer Service Representative (Driver) for the day-to-day operations in the warehouse. Securing and managing stock, maintaining stock records and ensuring that the deliveries and collections to and from customers and suppliers are completed as planned by the CSR.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Admin & Stores Assistant’s key result areas include:
Sales order processing
Receiving, labelling and storage of stock
Assisting with managing consignment stock levels at customers
Stock counts – consignment counts & monthly counts
Internal stock transfers
Stock returns
Prioritising the daily deliveries and collections based on location & urgency
In the absence of the Customer Service Representative (Driver) be the backup for the delivery of stock as required
Maintaining necessary documentation accurately and timeously

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
2 Years’ experience in a warehouse environment
Driver’s License
Physical capacity to lift/carry containers up to 25Kg
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge and experience in a Financial or Stock Administration System

Start Date:
01 November 2021 (With the possibility of a trial week during October)
