Admin & Receipting Clerk - Mossel Bay

SUMMARY:
Our client, based at their Mossel Bay Depot, is seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Admin & Receipting Clerk. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the administrative and receipting function at the depot, ensuring accurate stock handling, efficient administration, and smooth day-to-day operations.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Check and verify incoming deliveries against documentation
• Book in stock accurately and timeously
• Manage stock transfers between branches (Mossel Bay and George)
• Maintain accurate inventory control and records
• Process and manage customer returns
• Arrange couriers and manage related documentation
• Prepare and process banking
• Assist with counter sales when required
• Maintain accurate filing and administrative records
• Liaise with internal departments and branch staff as needed

• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Previous experience handling stock and inventory
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Organised and proactive
• Reliable and responsible
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Strong communication skills
