Management opportunity for a healthcare professional with sound experience of an acute rehabilitation environment, including previous supervisory experience.
POSITION INFO:
A vacancy for an experienced Practice Manager is available at a private Acute Rehabilitation Unit in Pretoria. The key responsibility of the position is overall management of the operational and staff outputs of the facility.
Key duties:
- Ensure rehabilitation care activities are carried out and comply with SANC and HPCSA regulations, relevant legislation and the facilities policies and procedures
- Implement a focused marketing strategy
- Promote unit growth and utilization and establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring the effective training and education of staff
- Oversee all services, including maintenance, hygiene etc
- Ensure adherence to Infection Control and Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Managing the budget, stock control and cost effective staffing
Education and experience requirements:
Relevant healthcare qualification
Current registration with professional body (SANC or HPCSA)
5 yrs clinical experience, which includes a rehabilitation environment
2-3 yrs management experience required
Computer proficient
Excellent leadership skills
Ability to function well in a constantly changing envrionment
