Exciting opportunity available in the insurance industry for an actuarial analyst that is looking to make a shift in their career and go into a more focused role in the life insurance space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client, a strong competitor in the life insurance space, is on the lookout for a talented actuarial analyst to join their team of specialist. This candidate will be actively involved in the development and improvement of structured investment solutions, along with quantitative analysis and preparation of approval documents for different governance forums as well as prepare various reports whilst actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is one that exhibits strong leadership skills, is highly analytical and has great time management skills. This role will give you the opportunity to form part of a structure where you can constantly grow, improve and move up in the hierarchy.

Education:

BSc Actuarial degree
Hons degree will be advantageous
Good actuarial exam progression

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in life insurance
Experience in investment products
Good computer literacy (Excel, SQL, VBA etc.)
Efficient stakeholder engagement skills
Must be able to perform all actuarial tasks as efficiently and accurately as expected by management
