Short-term Actuaries this opportunity will be the optimal space for you to hone your pricing skills with one of the biggest insurance companies in South Africa.

Job & Company Description:
The company supplying this opportunity is a welcomed household name and giant in the insurance field. The brand prides themselves in providing non-traditional problem-solving techniques to price products. You will be building and implementing pricing models, use statistical, models to provide solutions across the company, as well as monitor loss ratios and performance areas to improve models and design of product design features. You will be presenting and engaging with senior stakeholders in the business. This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior actuary looking to gain experience and exposure to short-term pricing and model development.

Education:

Actuarial degree
Good exam progression (core exams completed)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1 year + experience in an Actuarial position specifically short-term pricing
Experience in SQL, experience in would be advantageous C#
