Acting Group Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:

Duties:
• Responsible For Managing The Group Finance Function And Reporting To Group CFO And CEO.
• Responsible For Accounting And Reporting. Preparation Of Financial Statements, Internal Financial Reporting Financial Analysis As Well As Related Processes And Controls. The Position Manages The Annual Audit Process The Annual / Monthly Reporting.
• We Are Looking For A Candidate With Strong Leadership Skills, Analytically Minded And A Good Communicator
• You Will Be Managing Multiple Team Members Across Multiple Locations.
• You Will Be Required To Establish Or Maintain The Legal And Statutory Framework Of Accounting And Control Policies, Business Processes, Procedures And Standards Relating To The Recording, Classifying, Monitoring, Reporting Of Transactions. The Purpose Of The Role Is To Process And Maintain An Accurate Set Of Financial Records And Management Reporting.
Requirements:
• CA(SA) Or CIMA Qualification Required.
• Completed Articles.
• Able To Function In A Changing Environment And Adapt And Learn New Skills And Responsibilities.
• Able To Manage Simultaneous Responsibilities And Prioritise.
• VAT And Payroll Experience.
• Own Vehicle And Valid Drivers License.
• English And Afrikaans Proficient.
• Experience With Sage Pastel, Sage VIP, Draftworx / Caseware.
• Must Have Advanced MS Excel Skills.
• Ability To Assist And Supervise Others.
• Well-Organised And Attentive To Detail.
• Able To Meet Deadlines And Manage Projects.
