POSITION INFO:
RS Recruitment Services is assisting an organisation in the FMCG DISTRIBUTION industry to recruit an ACCOUNTS/ADMIN CLERK to be based at their offices in BALLITO, starting salary of R8 000 for a 1-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Should the position become permanent the salary will be increased to R9 000.
OUR CLIENT IS AN ESTABLISHED FMCG DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS SUPPLYING LOCAL AND IMPORTED FROZEN, REFRIGERATED, DRY AND SMALL GOODS TO RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, COFFEE SHOPS, CATERERS, SCHOOLS, NATIONAL CHAINS, CORPORATES, GUEST HOUSES AND HOUSEHOLDS.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE/HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Accounts/Admin Clerk.
A bookkeeping qualification, an advantage.
Experience using Pastel, essential.
Experience in a FMCG environment, an advantage.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-centric.
Attention to detail.
Well organised.
Initiative.
Prepared to work Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 and 08:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Basic bookkeeping functions.
Attend to customer queries.
Receive purchase orders.
Prepare and distribute picking slips to Pickers.
Check invoices.
Liaise with drivers.
Follow-up on orders sent to clients.
REMUNERATION:
Starting salary R8 000 to be increased to R9 000 after a three month probation period.
