A well-established organisation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Supervisor to lead its Head Office accounting team.
 
This role is suited to a strong leader who thrives in a high-volume environment and is passionate about financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and meeting reporting deadlines. The successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, resilience under pressure, and the ability to drive performance within a finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Authorise daily payments on banking platforms and release new beneficiaries
• Update and distribute daily bank balances
• Review debtors and creditors reconciliations (fortnightly & month-end)
• Ensure all team deadlines are met
• Review monthly reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
• Escalate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
• Ensure cashbooks balance before rollovers and period closures
• Authorise and prepare journals
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Perform GL and cashbook reconciliations
• Download and distribute monthly GLs and Income Statements
• Review and process monthly commission reports
• Provide guidance and support to team members
• Oversee general Head Office administrative support
