Accounts Receivables Business Analyst

Our client operating in the Healthcare industry is currently searching for a new Accounts Receivables Business Analyst for their Johannesburg North based Finance team. If you are ideal for this vacancy, please apply!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) designation and/or eligibility
• South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)articles completed at a ‘Big 4 Firm’ is advantageous
• Previous working experience within the Medical industry is advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Excel software skills

Job description & Skills:

• Maintaining accounts receivables customer files and records according to relevant information management systems
• Monitoring customer account details for non-payments and delayed payments regularly
• Reconciling the billing system with invoicing report
• Performing reconciliations, collections, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
• Forecasting support on the Accounts Receivables (AR) recoveries
• Facilitating project management while accounting as first point of contact with third parties on any recovery initiatives
• Providing weekly and/or monthly end reporting to senior management
• Liaising with banking authorities to obtain details on unknown payments
• Monitoring accounts placed on hold and progress on dunning letters and communication
• Assisting with the monthly management accounts and/or completing ad hoc activities and projects required by management
