Accounts Receivables Administrator

SUMMARY:
My client who is a growing brand in the technology space seeks to hire a driven and bubbly Accounts Receivables Administrator with strong debtors management experience. You will be response for invoicing, account maintenance, reconciling, age analysis and processing credit notes, to name but a few. If this sounds like you, apply now to be considered!

POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have at least 2 years’ debtors management experience in a fast paced industry – preferably in fmcg/retail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft office knowledge with strong excel and word
• Knowledge of an accounting system preferably Accpac/ Pastel/Syspro
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines

• Must have good client relationship management experience and good interpersonal skills

Duties Include:

• Debtor account maintenance – new and existing clients
• Invoices and month end statements supplied to customers by their preferred communication channel
• Reconciliation of debtor’s accounts (GL to age analysis to individual customer accounts)
• Liaising with customers regarding invoice queries and remittances
• Escalation of outstanding accounts to management
• Processing receipts into Accpac
• Management of the credit note process
• Client portal management to ensure all invoices are been uploaded correctly
• Processing daily bank statements ensuring all transactions have the correct supporting documents
• Reconciliation of all bank accounts weekly and monthly (GL to Cashbook & bank statement)
• Cashflow forecasting with accountant

Qualifications

Must have matric – non neg!

Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting advantageous
