SUMMARY:
My client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, South Africa.

POSITION INFO:

The main purpose of this role is to manage the debtor''s team on a day-to-day basis to ensure outstanding monies are collected on time; to reduce debtor''s days outstanding; prepare reports; weekly and monthly debtors age analysis for management review; sign off and releasing of orders on credit hold.

Description

Maintain Customer Accounts

* Processing of receipts

* Preparation of statements

* Resolving of queries

* Collection of over dues Review and Reconciliation of Customer Accounts

* Weekly review of Customer Age Analysis

* Monthly review of Key Account Reconciliations with commentary

* Management of insurance claims (Identification of insurance claims and management of tracker and submission to credit insurer)

* Management of legal book (identification of hand overs and management of tracker and submission to legal collectors)

* Preparation of unallocated receipts tracker

* Review of orders on hold report Reporting

* Preparation of collections forecast * Weekly preparation of overdues report with commentary * Preparation of AR Executive Report

Team Management

Profile

Degree in accounting and/or commerce preferable
Min of 5 years experience
MUST come from FMCG - A non negotiable
Management experience
Strong in excel
JDE experience

Job Offer

Upto R----- per annum excluding bonus.
