Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Logistics Department for a National company based in Randburg. The successful candidate must Ensure that the customer accounts are allocated timely and that all queries are resolved as well as ensure that the accounts do not go over the credit limits of agreed terms and conditions. Must be able to start as soon as possible.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12, Own transport
• Excel – Intermediate
• Solid accounts receivable experience – 5 years+
• Advanced Excel
• Manage difficult customers
• Analytical
• Accuracy
• Systematic & logical thinker
• Management experience
• Good people skills
• Works well under pressure and deadline driven
• Located in the Randburg & surrounds area

Duties:

• Credit application & credit checks with Credit Guarantee, BCM
• Review & processing of credit notes in SAGE
• Preparation of individual debtor’s recons
• Monthly reports on credit notes
• Monthly review of credit limits
• Preparation of documentation for all over credit limits/terms before escalation
• Recommendation for hand over’s with detail
• Handling and resolving of queries
• Visiting of customers
• Monitor account for prompt/late payments
• Maintaining accuracy on customer accounts
• Maintaining master file information
• Realising of order
• Prepare cash sale recons
• Opening of accounts in Sage
• Liaising with customer, internal sales, Reps and Regional sales managers re queries on accounts
• Ensure that customer stay within their credit limits
• Preparing of information for auditors at Year End
• Filing to be kept up to date.
