Accounts Receivable (6 Month Contract)

SUMMARY:
We are urgently looking for a suitably qualified and highly experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator for a 6 month contract in Northriding.

Overview
The Accounts Receivable Administrator will collect all outstanding debt for the business, maintain a clean debtors book and to perform ad-hoc accounting processes.
The successful individual will be responsible for:
·         Completion of monthly financial reporting by specific deadlines within the month (all related Accounts Receivables functions)
·         Maintenance of the Accounts Receivables (Debtors) Book including allocation of receipts and remittance advices, credit notes, statements etc. timeously and accurately
·         Timeously dealing with and resolving all Accounts Receivables queries with customers and internal staff in the most efficient manner
·         Preparation of the monthly Age Analysis and reconciling the Control account to the Age Analysis
·         Achieving a target debtor’s days
·         Preparation of related reports and graphs for weekly debtor’s meetings
·         Proactive debt collection and follow up with customers for outstanding payments
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
·         Matric (Non- Negotiable)
·         Degree/ Diploma in Finance/ Credit Management (Advantageous)
·         SAP experience (Non- negotiable)
·         5 years’ work experience in a similar role
·         Well-developed communication skills – verbal and written
·         Strong sense of confidentiality
·         Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
·         High attention to detail
·         Sound knowledge relating to Inter-company billings and recons
·         Sound knowledge of full debtors’ function – ability to manage over 100 clients and a book value of +/- R100 million
·         Experience in foreign collections
·         Ability to work independently and in a team
