SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector has an opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Officer in the Pretoria area. This will be a temporary position for 4 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Grade 12
National Diploma in Finance/ Accounting
3 years or more financial experience
Computer literate (Microsoft Office and thorough knowledge of Excel and Word)
Financial analytical skills
Understanding of Risk Management

KPAs:

Processing of invoice, claims and daily payments
Reconciliation of creditors accounts
Verifying of vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Disbursing petty cash by recording entries and verifying documents
Ensure that remittance advices are dispatched to creditors
