JOB DESCRIPTION:

A partner to the world’s leading mining companies is currently seeking an Accounts Payable & Treasury Manager. This company is a global leader and operates in numerous countries.

As a Accounts Payable & Treasury Manager you will responsible for the following:

Managing the accounts payable and treasury teams.
Managing process of on-boarding new suppliers and maintenance of current suppliers.
Review and approval of monthly supplier reconciliations.
Managing ageing of all creditors and ensure timely payment.
Ensure all conditional/unconditional rebates are captured and accounted for.
Ensure all Supplier Returns are processed and accounted for.
Managing daily, weekly and monthly payment cycle including reviewing and preparing supplier payment batches and uploading payment batches onto the bank.
Uploading/capturing of Bank Statements and perform Bank Reconciliations.
Preparation of accounts payable and treasury reports
Manage the day-to-day activities to meet the financial obligations of the group and forecast cash needs on a continuous basis.
Monitor and manage the group's bank relationships and liquidity.
Facilitate moving funds globally (including exchange control compliance and approval).
Assist with BEE Certification process.
Assist with month-end close and with year-end audit
Ad-hoc requests from Finance Manager

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom degree
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Experience in Sage Evolution
Excellent leadership skills
Able to communicate at senior level
