Accounts Payable / Credit Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a supplier in the FMCG industry is looking for an Accounts Payable / Credit Manager to join their team.

The Accounts Payable Manager will ensure that the department operates smoothly, maintain accurate and complete records regarding payments to suppliers, lenders, and employees, process payments from clients, and hire, train, and support Accounts Payable staff members.
You will also serve as a liaison between the Accounts Payable department and external parties, including lenders, suppliers, and government agencies.

Requirements

* Very strong management skills in order to make sure things get done.
* Willing to get their hands dirty and into the detail of things to make sure things get done.
* Technically strong and technologically advanced.
* Superb attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical and numerical abilities and advanced Excel Skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* An ability to explain complex financial.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
* A self-starter who does not require excessive supervision.
* Prepared to work overtime as and when required.
* SAP Business One experience.
* Logical problem-solving skills.
* A desire to be challenged.

Key Skills
* Ability to manage volumes.
* Experience working with foreign currencies would be beneficial.
* Manage the full Accounts Payable function.
* Reconciliation of accounts.
* Preparing payment and remittance advises.
* Resolving queries.
* Ability to manage a direct team of 3 staff members.
* Training, motivating, and evaluating Accounts Payable staff members.
* Managing process of on-boarding new suppliers and maintenance of current suppliers.
* Experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in large an high-volume AP environments.
* Experience may be required or preferred, particularly in a leadership role.
* Extensive knowledge about accounting and management principles and Accounts Payable procedures.
* Ability to analyze information and processes.
