SUMMARY:
An industrial manufacturing company is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and responsibilities:

Preparation of accurate complete accounts payable recons
Loading payments and beneficiaries onto ABSA banking system
Capturing of invoices for suppliers
Ensure all recons done in line with deadline
Resolving reconciling items with different business units
Build solid relationships across all business units
Foreign AP payments and clearing thereof
Handling and resolution of general AP queries (advance payments, GRN etc.)
Clearing of payments off the bank and investigating variances
BBBEE certificate management
Ensure all relevant legislation is complied with

Qualifications and experience:

Degree/ Diploma or relevant qualification
ERP systems experience (JDE an advantage)
Min. 3 years’ experience in accounts payable department
